Airport Cars Hull – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you have received a confirmation from Airport Cars Hull by email, text message, or telephone.

We aim to confirm all bookings within 2 hours of receiving them.

2. Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 15% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

The remaining balance can be paid directly to the driver on the day of travel by:

  • Cash
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Bank Transfer

Airport Cars Hull reserves the right to request full payment in advance for certain bookings.

3. Cancellations

  • More than 24 hours before travel: No cancellation charge other than the non-refundable deposit.
  • Within 24 hours of travel: 50% of the total fare will be charged.
  • No-shows or cancellations after driver dispatch: 100% of the fare will be charged.

4. Flight Delays

We monitor all incoming flights when a valid flight number is provided.

There is no additional charge for genuine flight delays. Pickup times will be adjusted accordingly.

5. Airport Arrivals

For airport collections, drivers normally wait off-site until your flight has landed.

Once you have collected your luggage, you will receive a text message asking you to confirm that you are ready for collection. Your driver will then proceed to the designated airport pickup point.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring all booking information is accurate, including:

  • Travel dates
  • Flight numbers
  • Pickup times
  • Pickup and destination addresses
  • Contact details

Airport Cars Hull accepts no responsibility for costs arising from incorrect information supplied by the customer.

7. Incorrect Booking Details

If a driver attends a pickup location or airport due to incorrect information supplied by the customer, the booking will be treated as a no-show and the full fare will remain payable.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all booking dates, flight details, pickup times, and contact information are correct before travel.

8. Luggage

Passengers must advise Airport Cars Hull of any unusual, oversized, or excessive luggage at the time of booking.

While every effort will be made to accommodate luggage requirements, Airport Cars Hull reserves the right to refuse carriage where luggage exceeds vehicle capacity.

9. Child Seats

Airport Cars Hull does not provide child seats.

Customers may supply their own child seats, which can be stored free of charge during their trip and returned on the return journey where applicable.

10. Vehicle Capacity

Passengers must book a vehicle suitable for both the number of passengers and their luggage requirements.

Airport Cars Hull reserves the right to upgrade vehicles where necessary, with additional charges applicable if larger vehicles are required due to incorrect booking information.

11. Waiting Time

Airport pickup waiting time for delayed flights is included when a valid flight number has been provided.

For non-airport journeys, reasonable waiting time is included. Extended waiting periods may incur additional charges.

12. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must behave in a respectful and safe manner at all times.

Airport Cars Hull reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if a passenger:

  • Is abusive or threatening
  • Causes damage to a vehicle
  • Endangers the driver or other passengers

Customers will be liable for the cost of repairing any damage caused, including professional cleaning costs where required.

13. Smoking, Vaping & Alcohol

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

Alcohol may only be consumed with the driver’s prior agreement.

Any passenger causing excessive mess, soiling, or damage to a vehicle may be liable for cleaning or repair charges.

14. Delays Beyond Our Control

Whilst every effort is made to ensure passengers arrive at their destination on time, Airport Cars Hull cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Road traffic accidents
  • Traffic congestion
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Road closures
  • Police incidents
  • Vehicle breakdowns
  • Security incidents
  • Airport operational issues
  • Air traffic control delays
  • Any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption and complete journeys as scheduled.

Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient travel time and are advised to follow their airline’s recommended check-in and arrival guidelines.

15. Lost Property

Any property found in our vehicles will be retained where possible and returned to the owner.

Airport Cars Hull accepts no liability for lost, stolen, or damaged property left in a vehicle.

Any costs incurred returning lost property may be chargeable.

16. Limitation of Liability

Airport Cars Hull’s liability shall be limited to the value of the booked journey.

Airport Cars Hull shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed flights, missed connections, accommodation costs, loss of earnings, additional travel expenses, missed bookings, or any other losses unless directly caused by our proven negligence.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure timely arrival, Airport Cars Hull cannot be held responsible for missed flights, connections, appointments, events, or other losses resulting from traffic delays, road closures, weather conditions, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, airport delays, security incidents, or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

17. Amendments

Airport Cars Hull reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
